Fiat 400V (1973 model)
I have been looking in this forum for a while and have found, and used, some pretty good advice from the members. So now it is time to say "Hi" and contribute if I can.

Originally from England, we now farm 27 acres in the province of Mendoza, Argentina about 2000 feet above sea level. The farm we bought has not been worked for years but that suits us as we can put our own character into it and not have to follow what someone else did.

Our tractor is a 1973 Fiat 400V pulling a 12 disc harrow. We hire a neighbour to use a ground breaking deep plough then follow up with the Fiat.

We are preparing the land to plant our first crop which will be 2.5 acres of grapevines and as we tame the rest of the land more grapevines and yearly crops will follow.

One thing that struck me reading the forum is that it does not matter where you live, but the problems small farmers face are exactly the same the world over:
- Small farms need either a niche market or another income to support them.
- Farms (such as ours) with beautiful views are open to 'lawful' harrassment by developers.
- Elderly neighbours are a wealth of information.
- You just cannot rely on the weather!

Hi to everyone and does anyone out there have a 400v?
