Hi, I have already benefitted greatly by reading some of the forum posts and I appreciate all the folks out there taking their time to post answers for newbies like me. Great stuff.
I recently purchased a Kubota BX23S and am at 29.4 hours on the meter... time for its first oil change and maintenance according to the book. We will see how that goes... I'm a lousy mechanic!
Living in Wisconsin, I am trying to get ready for my first winter with the BX. May need a charger for the battery, may need an engine block heater, may also need additional lights for the tractor... just don't know. Also may need a bigger coat for clearing snow. Presently I have the FEL and Backhoe, which of course comes with the BX23S, also added a Land Pride post hole digger and a Kubota snow blade. Right now I am prepping the ground for a pole barn to house everything... concrete pour is scheduled for about ten days from now.
I am really a woodworker, I also make videos and do woodworking classes. You can find me by "googling" the Down To Earth Woodworker. As a novice tractor owner, I am looking forward to getting good information from the folks here. I want to thank everyone who posts here, it looks like a really friendly place!
