MF 203
Hello all. Rebuilding an old (my first tractor) Massey-Ferguson 203 (loader/backhoe) that had been used/abused and put away wet. Engine (Perkins AD3-152) seems good (no noises, no smoke and good oil psi) but transmission was junk so swapped that out and had to replace hydraulic pump. Rebuilt front end, got gauges working, changed all fluids and filters, painted in AG colors and almost ready to go to work after 1 1/2 summers of an off and on effort.

Welcome to TractorByNet. Rebuilding these old gems is both rewarding and learning experience. Learning more about them is a plus . Good luck and greetings from Tennessee.

:welcome: from Washington State. I hope to rebuild a classic once I build my dedicated shop. Hard to get much done when wife's car is sharing shop space :D Be sure to post pics... everybody loves those.

Here are some before and after pictures. The hoe is back on now but hasn't been painted yet.
