Hello all. Living here in the middle of Deere country I still get kidded about my Kubota. I found out about tractorbynet when doing a google search for 3 point hitch attachments last fall. I bought my Kubota 2350 late last summer based on my experience with a Kubota 15 HP diesel engine in a Cub Cadet 1572 super garden tractor I bought back in 1986. I have nearly 800 hours on it mostly mowing and snow plowing and that little diesel is bullet proof. It even handled a 60 mower deck, although I admit the occasional black smoke when I pushed her hard.
Other than a new radiator last spring ($$$$), only thing I致e ever done to it was engne and hydraulic oil changes and fuel and air filter changes. Even original belts on dynamo and water pump. Retired the 1572 to snow removal duty only at the rental house my Dad lives in after buying the 2350.
I bought the 2350 without the FEL because I have access to an older John Deere 4020 tractor with a loader on it, although I admit I haven稚 needed it yet. The machine I bought out of the crate did not have the front valves on it but I purchased them and I will install them soon. At the time I had plans for the front snow blade but there was none available. A few months later I bought a Landpride RB1560 rear blade. Wasn稚 sure I壇 like plowing backwards but is has worked out well on my 120 black topped drive and parking area. Bought a KK carry all and boom pole and have used both quite a bit.
I have learned plenty from posts found here, especially from actionaj, john bud (GO PACK), 3RRL, kennyd, J_J, Farmwithjunk, Wayne County Hose, jimgerkin, CHDinCT, the Messicks guy, and others too many to mention. I plan on adding the rear remotes like actionaj did later this summer, the same time I install the front valves. Plan on a hydraulic top link and fabbing a hydraulic cylinder on the RB1560 for angling. I will be posting pics as soon as I figure out how?is there a cost from these photo hosting sites? Still learning how to post etc?.forgive any stupid errors.
Thanks to all who have posted sharing their knowledge. My trade is electrical and HVAC for the FAA. Any pilots out there?
