Hello all, Stanrav here and I am a new member. Actually signed up last fall, but have not posted anything yet, until today. I'm a farm kid from the 50's - 60's and spent those teen years (60's & early 70's) working on our farm and neighboring farms running different tractors, mostly IH H's & M's & a 460, Allis Chalmers, MM's, and a few Oliver's etc. etc.. Solo'ed on an AC's 'C' when I was five years old. My father was the first in the area (Hastings Michigan) to buy a garden tractor, a JD 110 with a 38" mower deck, new in 1965, when I was eleven years old. I spent many hours on that rig as well, mowing neighbors lawns, and a 5 acre cemetery. Did some garden tractor competition pulling back then too. Many more JD's would follow; 110, 112's, 318, X485, and so on. My father and I bought two new 318's together in 1987 and we both still have them. Dad's has over 2200 hours on it and still going strong. Anyway, right now, I'm looking for a new JD 2032R and just went for a test drive on my lunch hour today. I just posted a question in another part of the forum area, a few minutes ago. I have many interests, but tractors seem to be a reoccurring part of my life.
Happy tractoring,
Stanrav
