Hello everyone, I am a new member from Jacksonville, Florida. I have a TAFE 45 DI that I bought new in 2000 and now has 633 hrs. It's been a good tractor, but like all mechanical equipment, it must be maintained. I recently learned this the hard way when it wouldn't start. After trying everything I knew to do I finally pulled the injection pump and discovered it was full of water and in total disrepair. I had a local diesel repair shop completely rebuild it for $585 and now it runs like new. But, I learned something about the Cimco injection unit, it must have oil in the reservoir. Without oil the pump burns out. Now I know. Expensive lesson.
