Regarding prices, these tractors really are a bargain. I have no idea what this one costs, but back in Feb at the Tulare Ag show in Calif I wanted to find out what one of the bigggg tractors ran. Looked at a 560hp 4x4 articulated Case, and the sales guy was happy to go over the tractor with us and answer any and all questions. Total price was a mere $234,000. sounded like a deal to me for what you got.

I didn't find any of the newest series advertised online yet. That price seemed pretty good for that model. I have seen other brands on that size range listed for considerably more.

Yes, this is the same one . . . I found the article I had seen a while back.

During the recent 50th Anniversary for Massey Ferguson (1958 - 2008) in France, executive unveiled a new as-yet-unnamed Massey tractor that boasts a 365 horsepower SisuDiesel 6 cylinder engine, as well as numerous other design and performance improvements. The tractor is slated for release sometime in 2009 (at least in Europe), but no hard dates have been set.

Primary features include the higher-horsepower engine, stepless VT transmission (like the MF 8400 Series and Fendt lines), integrated front linkage/PTO, and a four-pillar cab that is rumored to be modeled on the MT700 and MT800 CAT Challenger track machines. They are in advanced testing at this time, with 16 units planned for heavy field tests this fall. The earliest public release of the final machine is likely to be at SIMA 2009.
