I've owned quite a few tractors, newest one being a 2013 until I purchased this Massey Ferguson 4707. Love the tractor so far, but way different than the New Holland and Kubotas I had before (newer technology) I was **** bent on a Kubota M4, but bought this tractor loaded up for thousands less, obviously not color blind.
The only thing that I noticed right off. If i nail the throttle it doesn't rev nearly as quick as the previous tractor. Dealer told me the newer emissions are responsible for this, any truth to that? It is 25hp more than I've ever had, but the motor isn't a massive jump in liters either. Best way I can compare it is revving my 6.7 diesel pickup versus a 12 liter over the road tractor. Vastly different. Has all the power I need once there, just want to make sure this is normal. Also tried setting the throttle up to 1100 or so rpms. It's a little better, but still. Not looking for drag car response, but something like before in my tractors.
