Does this mean that the spool gun would fit a lincoln 180

It will plug into the lincoln but check what it uses for wire feed motor voltage, You may have to snip off the amphenol and put on spade females. Doesn't matter how you plug them in. Im pretty sure Lincoln still uses spades on the newer units.
