Hello forum,
I am a new member and recent new owner of a Jinma 354 This past weekend while finish mowing I lost hydraulic power to raise my 3 pt. Steering and clutch still operate normally. My control valve lever has no effect on the 3 pt. What ever position the lever is in, I can manually lift the 3 pt arms and gravity will return them to the lowest position. No visible leaks anywhere and fluid level looks normal? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Also looking for make and models of FEL to fit this tractor. ( 4WD, fold down ROPS with no cab. )
Thanks

Sounds like you lost your hydraulic pump. Most times its a blown seal due to bad Quick Connects. Has your engine oil raised in level? The reason I ask is that when the pump seal blows it dumps hydraulic oil into the engine oil system and sump.

Your clutch is mechanical, not hydro and on your tractor I believe your steering has its own seperate pump and hydro reservoir.

There is also a second three point lever shift. It has 540 and 1000 rpm and neutral in the middle. Make sure it didn't get put in neutral by accident.

I agree it sounds like you have lost your hydraulic pump.Let me know if we can help, we keep all the parts and hydraulic pumps in stock. The JM354 tractors used 2- different type pumps, you will need to know if you inlet and out let are on the sides of the pump ,or is the outlet on the rear of the pump. Both pumps are E314 pumps, if you need some help give us a call 979-865-4002

Your symptoms are in fact consistent with a bad pump. But don't write it off until you verify the control lever linkage. First, make sure the draft control lever (the outside one) is in the full up position. If that doesn't fix the rear lift problem, closely observe while moving the inside lever up and down. You want to make sure the lever isn't slipping on its pivot point AND that the linkage going to the sump housing is in fact working. Any of these three items can produce symptoms similar to a bad pump.

What the **** was I thinking yesterday. As soon as I logged on this morning and saw the topic I thought "What fool would suggest something like that". I don't know much but I do know that the PTO speed selector lever has nothing to do with the 3pt hitch arms going up and down. Please excuse my total loss of a brain. Must have been overheating.

Thanks for the advice, this is my first tractor I bought from a retiring farmer. It is frustrating to be unable to find information easily. I am happy with the machine so far and hope that these occasional repairs won't make me regret the buy. I realize how valuable this forum is going to be and again thank everyone for sharing thier knowledge.
