New neighbor

I just learned this evening that our neighbor across the road is going to sell his house and move to the city. They have been perfect neighbors, always willing to lend a hand when you need one but not in your business all the time. I look at all the horror stories on here about bad neighbors and it gets me to thinking about what could move in across the road. I am going to keep my fingers crossed that it is someone good.

He's across the road. You ahve nothing to worry about. It's the ones that move right aside of your property that you need to worry about.

The old timer down the road tells of a fellow that was considering moving into the area. He asked Bob what the neighbors were like around here. Bob asked him what the neighbors were like where he was from. After the fellow answered Bob told him that he figured the neighbors around here were probably alot like that. It would not have mattered whether they were good or bad. Sometimes the neighbors you get depend alot on the neighbor you are.

Well said, treat them with the respect they deserve and you shall receive that same type of respect. Unless of course they are just plain -holes.
