Hey all,
I have a brand new NX6010 - took delivery on it in late April. A few weeks ago, I went out to start it up and only got a clicking noise. The battery was clearly close to dead. I charged it up and put a meter on it to check for a parasitic drain and sure enough, found it was sucking .19 amps even when not running. I'm pretty ticked at this because when I bought this tractor, the dealer told me it was a 2016 model which had been on his lot since Nov. of 2015. But after I took delivery and started checking out its condition, I found it has significantly more rust and deterioration of the grease and other parts to have been a 2016 model. I'm sure it's a 2015, maybe even a 2014. Now, that wouldn't have bothered me if they had been up front about it, but I believe they sold me a bill of goods to get their oldest machine off their lot. The dealer is about 100 miles away and have don't have the means to transport the tractor that far. I love the tractor, but I do feel like I've been taken advantage of a little bit. I'm really tempted to tell them I want it picked up, fixed, and brought back in the condition it should have been when I took delivery - all at their expense. Had this truly been a 2016 model I think chances of something being wrong with it at delivery would've been a lot less, so I want them to make good on this. Am I justified in asking for that?
Thanks,
Dave P
