OK I've finally gone and done it, I bought a vintage tractor and I can almost justify it on the basis that I have an allotment (well that way my excuse). Not in itself justification but better a usable compact than a full size fergie I guess.
I bought an Iseki TX1500 two wheel drive with it's own Iseki Rotavator.
I have commenced some basic maintenance and purchased a 3 point linkage kit and tow bar (delivery pending).
So far it all works although she is a little smoky, it is not likely to get worked long and hard.
I grew up on farms and smallholdings so it's not all foreign to me but I have already gleaned a lot of useful detailed information from this forum and expect to learn more as time progresses as well as adding my own thoughts and experiences.
Thanks for the opportunity to join in the fun.
