New Owner of 1986 Ford 1910

I've never owned a tractor before buying this Ford 1910 with Synchrcmesh transmision shuttle shift. I ordered a 6' county line tiller for and trying to learn how to use it properly.
Downloaded the operators manual and I'm confused how the shuttle shift pattern works?

Figured it out...on shutle shifter down and forward for 1st and down and back for 3rd. up and forward for first and up and back for reverse
