2008 Montana R3644
Well I bit the bullet and went ahead and got my new 3644 today. Purchased it from Diamond R equipment in Freeburg Missouri. Jim Rehagen is a very nice man that was very informative and would let get away with out a tractor. I had bought a used Kioti 3054 from Jim last year and he took it in trade and gave me a very fair price and the new montana for 15,000. What a deal. This thing is unbelievable. The Mitsubishi 4 cylinder is extremely smooth and the 38 horse motor has tremendous power. Smooth shuttle shift and extremely comfortable. I have done anbout 3 hours of Bushogging and this thing is great. Unbeilievable how strong the hydraulics are, the bucket can lift a ton. I appreciate everybody's encouragement on the purchase. I look forward to many quality hours. I looking into a grapple for the front bucket so I can get some serious brush clearing done.

Will be getting a 3644 hst probally this week. Was this price with a FEL and Rebates?
Isn't the 3644 a 36 HP?

The $15000 was the bottom line price for the tractor and the loader including the rebates. I will get the rebate but give it to the dealer as part of the deal. Actually the 3644 is 38.5 HP. This is a bit unusual as normally the HP is the same as the first two number in the model number. The 3644 is different, which is good. The thing is awesome as far as power is concerned. Haven't bogged it down yet and the 4 cylinder Mitsubishi is so smooth as compared to the 3 cylinder Dae dong.

You do lose some HP with the HST, but it is very convenient also. The thing that impressed me on the Montana shuttle is that it is fully synchronized, so it shifts very easy. Thus the reason I went with the shuttle and saved $1000. I had a Kioti 3054 and the shuttle on it was somewhat difficult to shift. The new Montana is a dream compared to it.

I gave the info for the finance company Saturday, and she will fax them Monday. I'm looking at 17500, with all the rebates (1500), Ouch, thought 16000 was what I wanted to see. Could be the HST option and the shipping to Oregon?? They had one at the dealership/feedstore that had the fold able rop, and a adapter for the backhoe, that one would have been much more, only 500 in rebates on it, so one will be shipped down from Portland this week (pending financing approval)- hard to understand the numbers. Any advise MontanaMan?
Jack, you and i will have to keep each other updated on our new rigs.
