Kubota B3030HSDC
I want to say thanks for all the great information on this forum. I am awaiting the arrival of a 2006 B3030HSDC that I just purchased.
I previously purchased a new Jinma that had been sitting on the dealer's lot for a few years and was out of warranty. It was an absolute nightmare as it was a problem from the day it arrived. It was a good lesson and as a result I decided to spend the extra money to purchase a Kubota.
I'm hoping to have years of mostly trouble free service from the Kubota. We have 35 acres of mountain property that borders the national forest at an elevation of 8600 feet. We will be using the tractor when we build our log home next year and then mostly for snow removal.

Thanks again.

Thanks. It currently has 148 hours on it and came with a deck mower and rear blade. I will be doing some serious snow removal in the winter - about 1 mile of road that can get a foot or two of snow in a day or two. That's the main reason I decided to spend the extra money on the cab. Now I'm trying to decide if the front mount snow blower is woth the extra $ over a rear mount. My dealer is asking $5500 for a front mount - Yikes!

Congrats, the B3030 is a great tractor. Many different opinions on whether front or rear snow blowers. Myself I like the rear because then the FEL is on and can be used for knocking back frozen snow banks at end of driveway. Also can be used for firewood or what ever you can not lift or carry. That's just my opinion, good luck with your choice.

When you get older it isn't so easy to sit sideways and look over your shoulder when operating. I would opt for the front mount, it is only painful once when you write the check.

You will like the cab more every time you use it. One thing I like about cabs and there are many are the mirrors as I am one of those old guys who has trouble turning around. I use my mirrors to back up and monitor my equipment.

My wife would love a 3030, but won't give up her 2660; maybe someday.

I'm definitley looking forward to facing this winter in the comfort of a cab. It will beat the Jinma I had hands down which I had to work on more than it actully worked.

A mile of road? Don't even question yourself about the front mount blower. It will pay for itself the first time you use it and you probably won't even know it! Congrats! Nice setup!

A mile of road and one to two feet of snow to cleat at at a time - get the front mount blower. You'll appreciate being able to blow snow for long periods (in a warm, dry cab) without being twisted up.
