Hey all....just picked up an TL2300F tractor. Needed something lager than my Kubota G5200 mower to do some field mowing.
Kept an eye on Craigslist for the past few weeks. This is what I came home with:

Long story short, it's a solid machine, been used but not abused, but lacking in the maintenance the last few years. Not sure of how many owners, but the most recent one had it 9 years. Almost 2200hrs. Couple little seeps. Needs a muffler (currently has straight pipe!) and a seat. Very good rear rubber. Front tires are very weather cracked, but look to have tubes. 4x4 seems to work just fine. Front end feels good, no excessive play or wander. Metal and paint not too bad for the age(I'm guessing mid 1980's). Headlights work (has Hi & low beams!), but flashers don't. Haven't check the cigarette lighter yet.
First order is a complete fluid and filter change. I've quickly scanned the archives here, but I'm still not clear what number of oil and hydraulic filters to get. Want to get them local from NAPA. Also what type and capacities of fluids (oil, gear, trans, hydraulic, steering box). I'm sure all this is mentioned on the decal on the underside of the hood.....but my Japanese is very rusty!
Second order may be the brakes. Left one works very good, right one barely works. Kind of squirrelly really. I hope for the short term I can adjust them to equal out. How big of an ordeal is it to replace the shoes?
Playing a little with it today and think I figured out all the ranges. Looks like 9-fwd & 3-rev. Has 4 speed PTO... I'm assuming #1 (or 2 at most) is closest to 540RPM.
Like to pick up some manuals too. Would I be in the ballpark with one for a Bolens G274?
