My Rad over heats in a few minutes anyone know where one can get thermostat in canada for tractor?

If when I try to start it all it does is go click click click anyone have an idea what is wrong with this?

Are you certain the thermostat is the problem?? Have you tried running it with the thermostat removed just to see if it doesn't run hot in a few minutes?? Yes, I realize that a diesel should always have the thermostat installed, but doing that temporarily will help diagnose the cause of the overheating. Also, you can test your thermostat by boiling it in hot water with a thermomoter in the water to measure the temperature and see if it does open and at what temperature it opens up.

The click-click that happens when you turn the key could be a number of things, such as the battery going bad, corroded/loose connections on the battery terminal posts, corroded/loose ground connections to the frame, or maybe loose wire on the solenoid. I would check all this first, if you haven't already done so.

On the running hot I'd suggest cranking engine with rad cap off and look for bubbles in coolant indicating compression getting into cooling system.

On the clicking but not turning over low voltage to starter.
