Hi All,

I purchased a used 1999 LB 1914 with a K102 front loader about 4 months ago.

The tractor had about 180 hours on it has worked well up until last weekend when Main gear selector got stuck in forth gear. The problem occured during operation with no noise indication of any problem.

The tractor performs fine except that I am now limited to only two gears 4th and 8th
The shuttle shift works fine as does the high to low gear changer.

My Hope is that the problem is in the linkage and does not require cracking open the case. I have a shop manual but the information is limited.

The Kioti parts manual Lists has a nice exploded view of the top linkage Assembly that shows some possible suspects that could get stuck.

Just wondering if anyone in the group has any experiance with
repairing this assembly.

Thanks in Advance:confused3:

From my experience, I would say you need to pull the top cover off transmission. This should release shifter and then you will be able to set the forks back in to the neutral position and then reinstall the shifter. Lubricate all the upper shafts - as with any tractor that sits you may not have proper lubrication up there. I prefer LUCAS Hydraulic Booster #10018. This will "stick" to those upper parts longer than typical hydraulic fluid - mixes very well with NO adverse affects to the hydraulic system:thumbsup:.
