Yanmar 1610D/Kubota B2620
Good morning all... recently I purchased a new B2620 with the Terra Trac aggressive bar tires to make it lower and wider as most of my time will be spent mowing grass with the 60" deck. I did pick up the loader, box blade, rear blade, and a brush hog with it though. So far I am pleased with my first hydrostatic drive tractor. I wonder if anyone else would have rather had side by side forward and reverse pedals vs the heel toe pedals? I think Kubota could offer tilt steering and a better seat on these also. I had looked at LS tractors and wow what a seat they use on their tractors but they did not offer the options and size I wanted in a tractor. Do any of you guys (or girls) feel like Kubota could upgrade some things on this line of tractor? Or do you all have other things that makes you wonder about? Don't get me wrong, I am very happy with this tractor and it's stability on my ground. Just wondering about others input. Thanks in advance.

You can get tilt steering and better seat on the B2650 model, which is the deluxe model. The B2620 (and the new 2601 that replaces it for 2015) is more of a basic model. Kubota has always offered basic and deluxe versions in most size ranges, including B and L. They address different preferences and budgets.

Pedal arrangement is personal preference I guess. I have owned and driven both, and don't care either way.

S219 pretty much sums up my opinion. I have the 2650 version. I personnally prefer the heel/toe pedal.

Yep, my thoughts exactly , you bought the basic model, as others said. That's why I ordered the Grand L over the standard L. Think of it this way, Silverado LT or Sliverado Work Truck, You kinda get what you pay for.

Buying a basic model and expecting or wondering about deluxe features is a waste of your time. :confused3:

What they said; pay more get more.

We own both heel and toe as well as side by side, I can use either.

I would prefer side by side pedals, only because I find the reverse pedal awkward while using my rear mount snowblower.
