Tractor King 200 (JM-200)
I just recently purchased about 3 acres. Started with a field of soybeans. Now they are gone and a new house is in order.

I started looking at large yard mowers but decided that maybe a small tractor would be better.

Went to look at the Kubota's...after the shock wore off went and looked at the green one's...I am buying a new house so who can afford this.

Ran across a Rural King flier in the local paper and spotted the 20HP 2wd for $3999.

Checked this site and the CTOA site and decided that if I can build and maintain race cars then a tractor shouldn't be much harder.

I have a few questions though...

1) The writing on the hood says its a Farm King 200. From what I gather it is a Jinma 200. But all the information I can find says they are 2 cylinder motors. I am positive that the tractor I have is a 3 cylinder. Any idea where I can maybe compare the VIN# to ensure that I am ordering the right parts in the future?

2)I am getting a oil pressure light at low RPM's. I checked the oil and it is within the limits both hot and colled off. Any idea's or suggestions?

Got the tractor, 48" box blade, 60" finish mower for $5100 out the door.

Put 4.5 hours on her scraping up chaff (?) from the former soybean field Sunday.

Welcome!
The 2 cylinder engine JInma was using has been discontinued. While Farm Pro has gone to the Yangdong Y380 engine used in JM224s, it seem Rural king is getting a 20HP Laidong engine. this engine is different and is not real common in USA. Nevertheless, your oil pressure problem may be improved by changing the oil. I don't want to start a dreaded OIL THREAD but a good diesel oil in a 15w40 will stay more consistant in viscosity over the temp range of the engine (easier to start cold and thincker hot).

Just remember your engine is different than most, so be careful as people give you advise...enjoy your tractor.

by the way, I would report the issue to protect your warranty rights. do you have 6 months or 2 years?

So did you buy the Rural King or not? Cuz their decals usually say TractorKing, not FarmKing.

Don't know about FarmKing, but every Rural King JM200 I've seen - plus the one on the WEBSITE - has been a three cylinder.

Regardless, the engine and tractor labels have all the info you should ever need to make sure you're ordering the right parts. But the labels aren't very durable. You might want to copy down the info, while you can still read it.

Having purchased from RK myself, I suspect you've still got the OE fluids. If you change engine oil to a diesel-rated 15W40, your oil pressure issue might resolve itself.

That was my mistake, it does say Tractor King not Farm King.

As far as the warranty its 6 months.

Is that a low pressure reading on a seperate mechanical gauge.. or on a clusterd / 'idiot' lamp / green/red 'sender' type gauge. If not on a real mechanical gauge.. I'd screw one in for piece of mind.. and change the oils as the others said.
