I would guess not. You dont (at the moment /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif) have any ground engaging attachments for the rear. The blade will put a lot of weight up front so you may want counterweight in the winter, but a lot of these guys that use theirs primarily as a mower like less weight. I was thinking you got a FEL, then I read back and saw that you didnt.
If you are having traction problems in the winter, then you can add a counterweight, rear finish mower should work fine. If you dont want to use the RFM then a carryall from TSC (right behing snack-n-pack) coast about 75 bucks, you add the wood. A carry all is a pretty handy item to have anyway and you could toss weight on it for traction in the winter.
Try it first, if you are losing traction, it will take a evening to load the tires. No big deal. You can borrow my bucket and nozzle. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Best price on winshield washer fluid is Wal-Mart (the 5th ring of ****) If you had a FEL I would jump up and down and be screaming YES you need to load the tires.
