new seat and cup holder

ok crew, time for another seat and cup holder thread. anyone come up with a good insert if i drill a big hole in my fender? looks like plenty of clearance to the tires. could just use some steel pipe and weld it in also.


what seat do you like? considering this one.

i have a weird nerve issue around the end of my tailbone and believe my previous office chair made it bad, and subsequently hurt bad enough i passed out while in the kitchen and smashed my head on the floor. spend a good amount of time on the tractor the past couple weeks and getting pain again, similar shape to the seat, and bouncing around. would like to avoid previous events. i have a high tolerence, so if something is hurting bad, its not too far from the point at which my brain does a hard restart. I don't have extra height for the suspension seat.

and im the one bringing the avg. age around here way way down!!

no rops. almost perfectly flat land. no seat belt. its really not very bouncy around here unless i am in the neighbors field, very rare.

add pvc coupler or pipe, 'T' nut and bolt. It'll stick anywhere except plastic JD fender.

As far as seats go, I put this one on my brand new tractor before I even used it!

I liked it so much, I purchased a second one and put it on the BH. I have bad discs and just a few hours on the stock seats would cause back pain for days. I now can be on the tractor 6-8 hours without any pain. I have been working on other stuff and climb up onto the tractor seat just to relax and give my back a break.... it is that comfortable.

I have had them on the tractor for a year now (170 hours) and they have held up very well with no issues. They are water resistant, not waterproof, so I usually cover them with an industrial size trash bag to keep them dry when not in use.

Ive got the same seat on my L3650. It is a very comfortable seat. Not totally waterproof but a good tradeoff for the breathability.

ended up getting the agrisupply one. we will see how it is. and i got those magnets today for my pvc cupholder.

ill let you know how i like the seat. i was worried that other one linked would be too wide, my 3pt lever already rubs the side of the current seat at about 19 wide.
