No I didn't experience engine over heating but this is something worth monitoring. Yesterday I mowed for two hours and headed back up to the barn and my wife was pointing and waving her arms as I pulled up. She had seen the grill appeared to be completely occluded with debris from the mowing. When I shut the engine off 99% of the debris just fell to the ground in a heap. The outside air temp was below 70 degrees and the engine was not over heating, it might be well to keep an eye on temp if you're mowing with high outside temp or long hours without shutting off the engine and allowing the debris to fall off.
