New Shop Heat

Good looking stove I think Ricks Restorations restored one similiar to that on tv last week. The circular pieces were nickle plated and really added to the looks of it. I remember sitting around stoves like that with our feet on the circular bottom piece to warm them up!!!! Enjoy.

I like some of the nickel plated ones myself but the people who have those want to retire after the sale if you know what I mean. This one here I think might of been a poor mans parlor stove wanted to get something nice for the misses and the house but probably couldn't afford finer one with the nickel plating.

Cf, it's hard to tell scale in your pic. A friend of mine has one like that but it is huge(4' tall at least), heats his whole workshop which is an old barn.

cfender,

Don't know where you are in Western Washington, but that stove may not be useable in a burn ban. I have two wood burners in my shop that can't used in a stage 1 or higher burn ban. They are not approved for use in Washington. They are grandfathered in for use, but not in a burn ban. There is a hefty fine if you are caught.

I am aware of the burn ban issues, we did a lot of research on the regulations for the wifes wood cook stove.
