I think I've been thumping on the blower bible ever since I got mine... people who don't have one have no idea how much more efficient they are at ...surprise!-- moving snow. Yes, they're expensive, especially front-mount versions. Yes, they're much more complicated than a FEL or a plow. Yes, they're not as fast as a plow.

BUT.... MUCH more efficient than a FEL, and in the same ballpark (though perhaps a distant second...) as a plow, but with NO HIGH SNOW BANKS and no driveway parts to pick out of your lawn in the spring.

If you get a lot of snow, you owe it to yourself to check out a blower.

Congrats on your purchase; I doubt you'll need your FEL except for a bit of cleanup in the spring.:thumbsup:

You are so right! The blowers are the way to go. Some of us just have to learn the hard way. :ashamed: The FEL is a prime tool in my wood gathering exploits, so it stays on all winter. (Pics coming soon!) It also works well for back dragging snow away from the garage door.

I'm a little shy on rear remotes, however, it would also be very easy and pretty cheap to rig up an electric winch to use for chute rotation. Also thinking about an electric linear actuator for adjusting the angle at the top of the chute.
