2019 New Holland T4.75
The plastic mounting tabs that are suppose to hold the boot to the console appear to be too short to grip well. Or else the hole is too big. Anyone else have this problem?

Quick answer, yes. Long answer, mine popped up the first day after the tractor was delivered (2016.)
My salesman said it was minor & came out to fix it and it popped off again the first shift when I used it. Salesman got with service folks and there’s a plate the boot connects to, sorry but I wasn’t there either time he came out so I don’t have a better description. After he got the plate and repaired it the second time I haven’t had a problem since. Evidently after the boot separates from the plate it can’t be put back. And.....that’s been my only issue so I hope that stands! Good luck with the tractor I really like mine. Any questions on that plate let me know maybe I can get a part number for you.

I will check my 2012. It looks like a newer design from my unit. The boot on mine is loose like that but I did not notice a mounting tab like yours. I bet NH had an issue with the first T's and that boot mount was added.

Could be, I don’t remember seeing the bolt in the middle of the boot as shown in your pic. Regardless, maybe the new design will work on your tractor. I didn’t do a great job of describing the mounting plate, it goes on the inside and mounts up against the shifter boot, underneath out of sight. Not like the chrome plate on say a 69 Mustang or Camaro that fits on top :)
Like I said, will be glad to help with part numbers if need be. Good luck!

Yes, mine is a newer design and the boot is attached to the mounting plate with four screws. My dealer plans on ordering a new boot and its mounting plate plus the panel it mounts to. My dealer service department is easy to work with and will make it right.

How do you like your tractor so far? I bought mine used with 1K hours and nothing really bad to say. The cab comfort in the weather is worth the price of admission.

I have only put a few hours on it and as you say the cab comfort is worth it. My previous tractor was open station and blowing snow was always a thrill (cold and wet).
So far loving it a lot. I am looking forward to this summer mowing grass. I have 13 acres to mow and have a 17 ft bat wing finish mower. So far the only problems have been this boot problem and an antifreeze leak from the heater control valve.
