new Tatro grapple on B7800-which remote valve kit?

Based on much of the advice here (Mad Referee & others) I ordered a grapple for the bucket of my LA402 FEL from Andy Tatro and should have it within the week.

I know there a million posts about grapples and installing them but I'd like advice on what remote kit is the best way to go. I contacted WR Long and they suggested "electric over hydraulic valve kit would work great for you. The list price is $519. If you want us to provide the hydraulic quick connects they list for $52 and if you want a bulk head plate and hydraulic quick connects the list price is $86 instead of $52. The valve kit can be shipped UPS and should cost around $20." Apparently the $605 would buy me everything I need. I have to order through Carver Equipment in NC as there are no dealers near me.

I don't have a need for rear remotes on my B7800 (as of yet anyway) so I figured the WR Long kit would be less $ and a nicer overall set-up for this application. I am going to pay a handy mechanic to install the grapple and kit for me.

Is this the best way for me to go?

I don't think you can go wrong with the WRLong diverter kit, lots of people on TBN have them and I've never seen a negative post. On the other hand, what do you mean by saying you don't have a need for any rear remotes??? Every red blooded tractor owner has a (unfulfilled sometimes) need for rear remotes!!! Is there a BH in your future? Or a hydraulic topping lift? You could spend that same 600 bucks and get a set of rear remotes to run the grapple. Either that or the diverter would be quite satisfying and practical.

ha-ha Thanks Island, yes I am sure I will buying more implements for my tractor. I will call my Kubota dealer in Michigan and one in Canada for prices on the remote hardware.
