Well, I'd like to thank everyone at TBN for their advice. Last Saturday I picked up my new TC40DA, and as promised, I have pictures available here:

Again, I thank all of you who offered advice and suggestions. I feel I got the right machine for the right price.

Nice looking TC-40DA. The only thing I like better than looking at one is playing on one......

Do you have anything yet to attach to those rear remotes? If not I'm sure you will soon.

Thanks, PineRidge. As a matter of fact, your TC40D pages are in my reference folder /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. . One of these days, I may add a diverter setup like you have.

Anyhow, I do have plans for one set of rear remotes. I will be adding a hydraulic top link in the next week or so. As for the second set, I figure it was easier to have them put on now. I may not have a use for them right away, but they're there if I need them.

what exactly is the tractor going to be used for?

Mowing 12 acres, landscaping, snow removal, tilling, forklift duty, hay wagon puller-arounder, brush grabber, post hole digging. A little bit of everything. I made the main machine size/horsepower selection, however, based on the size of areas to be mowed and tilled.

Nuthin' like a shiny new tractor. It sure is purdy. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Now you should "screw up" your courage and practice removing the loader and putting it back on. Once you get the hang of it, it's a piece of cake. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Nice photos!

Last summer i hah the 1st remote added for my front mounted auger, my tractor is at the dealer today having the 2nd and 3rd added. It would have been more cost effictive to have all 3 put on at the same time. Some times we learn the hard way. Also check out the yop and side from Inergrated Engineering.

Nice tractor I am sure you will enjoy it. What size rotary cutter , or finish mower are you going to use? /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I'll be using a 6' King Kutter rotary cutter for right now, to maintain our 12 acres until we start building our house. Hard to say when that will be, because I'm having too much fun on the tractor to stop and build a house! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
