Looks good! Once you've had a hyd. thumb on a machine it'll be hard to have a machine without one.

Is that a northsaw thumb for Fiero fabrication? I'm considering him go a fixed mechanical unit. It looks like good quality for the money.

DING DING DING, we have a winner, you got it its a northsaw. We couldnt be happier so far, Donn was outstanding to work with, and he bulilds one heck of a thumb. Is your machine plumbed for a thumb? If it is spend the extra money if you can, you will be so much happier with a hydraulic one!

Thats for sure, our mini has one since new, when we got this machine we wanted to get a thumb but didnt want to spend a ton of money so we opted to go with the manual with thoughts of converting it. We crunched up some numbers and figured it would cost as much as buying this new thumb, so we went with the new one. How do you like your 115? I dont think we will ever buy anything but a Kobelco excavator again.They are great! do you have any pics?

Unfortunatly I won't be able to go with a hydro thumb. It's for my tlb and a mechincal thumb will be godsend compared to nothing.
