Was reading a news story about a new tick illness. As if things weren't bad enough!
My property has always had a heavy tick population. 2 years ago, I contracted Ehrlichiosis - no fun. Since that experience, I've started treating all my clothing with Permethrin. While nothing is 100%, this stuff works great and I highly recommend it to anyone working outdoors.
I've thought about spraying the entire property and would be interested in knowing if anyone has attempted large scale tick control.
