New to buying steel -what to ask for at supplier

Quick follow-up. Took my very short materials list to the local supplier and they couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. Both the guy in the sales office and the guys in the cutting area made me feel very comfortable.

In addition to learning something about steel, I also took the advice of drawing (sketching actually) my plans. I went from very complicated to extremely simple.
