I'm a new acreage owner and recently purchased a used '92 John Deere 970. The tractor is in great shape and came with three attachments: A front Blade, a rear blade and a mid-mount mower. I'm getting the hang of the attachments except for the mower. It's 72" mid mount belly mower and for the life of me I cannot figure out how to attach it to the tractor. It's a John Deere mower but I'm still looking for the model number. It doesn't appear to be like the newer models that you can simply drive across and lock into place. From what I can tell, the front blade must be removed before the mower is hooked up. It also appears to be made to fit this tractor. After that, I'm lost. Any help would be appreciated! -Dave P.S.
