After nearly 40 years on my little piece of ground I finally purchased a tractor with a loader, my back told me about time! I purchased a used B2620 with 381 hours from a dealer who had it on consignment. I have an old Ford Jubilee that stop running several years ago, got tired of changing plugs and cleaning points every time I wanted to use it, I don't have a shed so it sat tarped outside, I used a rear blade to clear snow and had a lift to pick things up, both will be used on the Kubota. I also have a 1923 Fordson I restored that is parked in one of those canvas sheds which has not been started for almost 7-8 years. My biggest need right now is a left side step to on the Kubota, old and stiff makes it differcult to climb on. I saw somewhere a step with a picture and part number, I ordered it before the tractor was even delivered, not sure if will work now, will see when it come in.
BTW the forum name Rototiller is because I have a huge website on older rototillers Donald's Antique Rototillers, wrote a book "The Rototiller in America" and I have some 35 rototillers or parts of plus garden tractor and various engines. I got retired over 1-1/2 years early and since I don't play with those toys any more I want to sell them off but I need the loader to bring them up to my shop and list them on ebay or take to flea markets. I figure I will need the Kubota for about 2-years then decide if I want to keep it for mainly snow removal.
