I've been lurking around the site for a while now and after almost 5 months of searching and looking at various machines and going to a number of auctions, I picked up a 2000 NH 4x4 with 400hrs, 7308 FEL with HD bucket, canopy, turf tires, chains and rear hydro outputs. It spent most of it's life mowing, and the FEL was only added three years ago
it's replacing the '52 Fergie that came with our property
so far the only issue I've noticed is that the loader is very weak. It can't even lift the front end of the tractor. The "chatter" kicks in pretty much as soon as it's placed on the ground
If it persists after a fluid/filter change I'll have to adjust the spring on the relief valve. Has anyone done this to the 7308 and can offer some feedback? Are there any online tech. sources (apart from TBN of coures
) for info on this particual loader/tractor?
