New to me 1920

Well I want to start by saying the best time to buy something is when it's not for sale. I was on my way to look at a 1720 2 days ago and I spotted what looked like a 4wd ford tractor in a back yard. I pulled in to see if they would be interested in selling it. It turned out to be a 2 owner 700hr 95' 4wd 1920 SSS with a new bush hog fel. It's got the full syncro 12x12 tranny. This thing is a cherry, paint is great body is great runs and operates like a champ. Long story short $6500 and my 16' firewood trailer later and it's in my garage. The trailer made it's way into the deal cause I was on my way to hopefully pull a 1720 home. Could not be happier I feel like I got a great deal.

from the pictures it looks like you got a great deal a 13k tractor for half price

My suggested I list it for that much but I don't know, I think I'll keep it unless someone shows up with cash in hand.

Great deal on a great tractor. Since you were already looking for a 1720, you obviously know what a good tractor this is. And, since you were looking for a tractor, you obviously needed one. "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush."
