New [to me] B7800 and Salsco 824

I am very excited to have joined the tractor owner society! I just bought this B7800 w/210 hours and Salsco 824 chipper that looks practically new. My wife was not particularly on board, but she likes the size and is a huge fan of the chipper. (She is a teacher and gets "snow" days so I hope she becomes a big fan of the rear blade, too!) Now I just have to find a way to justify the laundry list of other attachments.

Other people post pictures of their kids sitting on their tractor. Well, I don't have any [human] kids.


We immediately put it to work. It didn't take long at all to demolish one of our tree/branch piles. I have probably cut 200 small trees out of the woods around our house - only about 10,000 more to go!

Chipper is phenomenal. I am so glad I pulled the trigger on the deal with the chipper. It is almost as good as the commercial ones I have rented. It slowed down only a couple times and I was at times putting in full 4" diameter 40' trees. The hydraulic feed just sucks them right in.
