Went to a nice auction yesterday and came home with a Danuser 3pt digger/auger. It's an older one but they really appear to be well built, so I went for it. It came with three augers which will really come in handy around the property. Really stoked it came with the bigger one, good for setting poles or planting ball nursery stock. Anyone have experience with Danusers? I have only used a few PHDs and they were definitely lighter duty than this thing. BTW, sent a quick email to the company's website around noon today requesting an owner's manual and received a reply back within ten minutes from a rep's Droid phone. Now that's impressive customer service on a Sunday!! What say you all about Danuser?

you got a good digger if not the best ever built, ive used them before and they are tough, heavy duty, well built. here where i live (south western pa) the ground is tough and rocky. i currently own a shaver, 12 inche auger, it does a good job also but in my opinnion you got the caddilac of diggers.p.s. they are good for sevice also, (parts etc)

Best digger ever made. Friend stole one last Sat at auction for $400 and sold it before he got it off the trailer for $650 and could have got $900 if he had held it a few days. Ken Sweet

Well, I didn't steal for sure, but stihl think it was a good deal @ $700 with all three augers. Used equipment auctions tend to be much steeper up here, even beat junk sells here. You Southern used equipment guys could probably even do well bringing a truck load up for consignment. Especially skid steer QA stuff, would swear they make it out of gold up here....

Even though it has obviously seen much use, everything is tight and no major defects at all. Good to hear from others though, as I've had no experience with this brand before. Look forward to diggin' some holes. ;)

The three augers make that an outstanding buy. I'm sure it'll serve you well. Be safe.

I had the pleasure of meeting the owner of the company. It is a family owned business and they are a class act. Danuser builds one great digger. That was a very good deal.

Good buy. Before I knew anything about attachments, I passed a Danuser auger up at an auction that went for 265 bucks.

I don't like to throw names around on open internet forums w/o permission but the individual that replied to my email on Sunday afternoon and the company in question share the same surname....
