Some of you may have read my earlier post about a "pig in a poke" tractor buying experience. I bought this 2007 4720 from Bader and Sons in Michigan. What a great dealership to deal with. The tractor had 791 hrs and was loaded. Even had a quick hitch and 72" 7 iron mower deck. It was equipped with a 400cx with an 85" materials bucket. I recently added the 64" WR Long grapple. I"ve been extremely pleased with the purchase. I keep waiting to find the "thing" that made the price so good, but so far, everything works perfectly.
This morning I gave it the heaviest work out so far. We had some trees downed during a recent hurricane. ( about two months ago ). I had saved the best for last. The pictures are of a nice walnut tree that fell in my son's yard next door to me. The first one the the smallest. The second photo is my view from the seat. And the third one is the biggest log. It was just about all the grapple and tractor wanted.
There have been many grapple threads recently, and I just want to add, that I couldn't be happier with my decision to buy the WR Long. I installed a diverter valve with a switch on the loader joystick. It's a very handy sert up.
