I have been amazed what wet sanding and buffing can do. Maybe this will be the machine you can lear on.

Is a kubota l2850 transmission and rear axle the one oil level or separate units

My 2550 is the same case for all. Multiple drain points though if you are changing it out.

Cheers thanks ,I should have asked on my last post what oil the transmission uses , it has been suggested that it should be kubota udt whick i think will be equivalent to the oil for mf , jd , nh wet brake transmissmions.

This may get me banned from the site but I just use regular hydraulic fluid and change it out every 400 hours and have had no issues.

UDT is needed for tractors with hydrostatic (HST) transmission. The L2850 has gear-type trans and hydraulic pump(s) so regular multi-purpose tractor oil is fine.
