I finally got her! 1350hrs - beautiful shape! I just ordered a Construction Attachments 3rd Function Hydraulic Valve kit - soon I'll have the rear tires filled with ballast. Not sure if I want to go with the 'foam' fill or RimGuard...

Congratulations on your new tractor - looks to be in good shape and a clean machine!

That's a lot of tractor - do you intend to have a snow blower or other rear implement instead of the BH - a blade for snow probably isn't as heavy as the BH so filling the tires will give you more stability. But if you have a some counter balance like a drum filled with concrete you should be OK.

Very nice setup! I might be a bit biased since its near-twin is parked in my shop. I wish I could give you a list of things to watch for based on my experience with mine, but mine has never down for repairs or needed anything beyond routine maintenance. Oh, I forgot... there was a faulty air cleaner sensor that needed replaced once. But that's it for actual mechanical repairs needed since 2002. So my suggestions boil down to good maintenance. Keep the radiator and air filters clean, lube it regularly, etc. If you can, get a shop manual.

One thing in particular regarding the backhoe, its operation puts considerable lateral and fore-aft loads on the tractor. Be sure to check all of the loader and backhoe mounting bolts for tightness periodically; likewise for wheels, rops mounts, etc. If this is your first BH, take your time learning how to use it. More practice = more skill.

Highly recommend adding a toothbar to that loader. Increases the already considerable digging ability.

Have fun and be safe with that beast. You'll be amazed at the work it can do.

Thank you, she should be a lot of fun!

It is good to hear that not much has gone wrong with yours - hopefully with good care, mine will be the same!

A tooth bar is on the list of things to do and get... Along with a skid steer quick attach adapter, either a new bucket with SSQA or cut/weld mine to accept SSQA, grapple, pallet forks. I have already purchased the Pat's Easy Change 3pt Adapters through today's sale (great price) and the Construction Attachments 3rd Function Valve kit. I am trying to determine if I should have the rear tires filled with Rim Guard or foam.....

Nope, not yet. I have been quoted about $600 for both rear tires filled with RimGuard, though.

Well, a quick update!

I had the rear tires loaded with the Caliber M1000 (?) solution because all the RimGuard dealers around me wanted $1000+ to do so. The Caliber cost me under $600 and they came to my home! Great deal, if you ask me!

I also purchased a Construction Attachments 3rd Function Hydraulic kit and a Worksaver Skid Steer Quick Attach Adapter for my Kubota LA852 loader from National Implement 3-Point Tractor Implements and Skid Steer Loader Attachments. I can't say enough good things about National Implement - they've been fantastic and have really given me personal attention. Not to mention, their prices are the best around, by far.

I also ordered an adapter plate to weld to my bucket from Titan Attachments on Amazon.com: 5/16" for $104 shipped. That is, until I noticed they sell it for cheaper which includes shipping for $90 on their own website. Needless to say, I am not very happy. Since I saw I could get an adapter plate in 1/2" stock straight from their website, I ordered it up. I have since initiated a return for my Amazon order and they are giving me a hard time. I find it VERY dishonest for the same seller/manufacturer to list the same items for different prices.

All in all I am very happy but I hope Titan Attachments can make good on this.
