New (to me) Land Pride PD15 PHD

Since I acquired another tractor recently and had sold all my implements with the old one, I've been in acquisition mode. My new (to me) 2013 L3800 was really bare except for the loader. That may be why it was priced low even with 264 hrs on the clock. So the hunt begins.

I had a no name real beat phd on my last machine. Didn't pay much for it ($250), it wasn't pretty but it drilled about 125 6" holes for me in rooty rocky soil. I found this unit on Craigslist, advertised as hardly used. Except that its been stored outside and looks weathered it does look pretty unused. The auger flight is hardly scratched and the price was great.

1st project will be digging holes for new plantings in the spring. Need to get a 12" auger. But all in all I think this was a good find:

I've had good luck with mine. First holes I drilled were for posts to hold the unit up when not on the tractor.

I used my 6" bit, not the 18" bit in the picture.

LOL! Wouldn't have to go very far. We have a herd of about 10-12 deer that wander through our woods / front yard every morning and evening. This young buck was caught on one of my woods cameras yesterday morning (time stamp is wrong). I have several infra red lights to illuminate the woods. They can't be seen by eye (man or beast)
