Sounds like my mom, besides shooting flying chicken hawks, she could shoot a squirrel 40' up a tree in the head when he peeped over the limb and never scar the bark. She easily out shot my dad and the rest of us. Her friends nicknamed her Annie Oakly.

Takes good eyesight to do that! My new plastic lens helps, but still not as good as it was 50 years ago.

Has anyone tried to buy 22. Lr lately? Here in south La. The shelves are bare and the people that bought up thousands of rounds at the first talk of gun cntrol are selling them for $100. plus a brick. So no more sunday afternoon shoot offs till some sanity returns to the market.
