New Holland TC33DA
Hi guys this is my first post. I have been on here reading for almost a year. A number of years ago i started looking at small tractors for my property but at that time i just could not justify the cost. Last year we purchased an additional 6 acres so i started looking again. I had looked at all brands in our area and had decided i wanted something between 30 and 40 hp. Again justifing the cost of new was tough. I started looking at used and just could not seem to find what i wanted. Well about a month ago one came for sale close to home at a very reasonal price for around here. I purchased it 2 days later it is a New Holland TC33DA and it had 396 hrs on it. I also purchased a Frontier 60" finish mower to mow my field. Any way i just wanted to say thanks for all the great info on this site as it really helped in making an informed decision. I am looking forward to putting this tractor to use. Thanks again

You could have used a bigger finish mower. I use a 72" King Cutter finish mower on my Case IH DX33 which is the same tractor. It is not too big for it.

I had a TC33DA (older than yours) and I really enjoyed it. I used it to mow 7 acres mostly, with some loader work. It was a very slick tractor and easy to operate, and I enjoyed the 15 degree offset seat when backing up under trees, a real neck saver. Good luck with your new tractor.

I was going to buy a 72" mower but i got a good deal on this mower it was old stock and i saved about $700, i actually like the way it perfectly covers my back wheels. I don't have to quess going by a tree i just pass the rear tire tight by a tree and it mows right to it; Plus i've only got about 4 acres of field.

Welcome toTBN.
I've got a TC29 DA which is the same as yours only it's got a smaller engine.
These are great little tractors, I think you will enjoy yours for a long time.

Welcome, and hope that machine gives you the trouble free service I got from mine! 600+ hrs, and I think 90% of the problems that I had were operator inflicted.

Welcome to TBN. I have a 2004 TC-33D too and love it. I would recomend loading the rear tires. I did mine this past weekend and am very pleased with the results. Enjoy your tractor.

Welcome!
I have a TC33D with 900+ hours and it is certainly to be ranked near the top as for equipment I've ever owned.
I regularly mow 10+ acres with a 7' Woods RFM.
Now that you have it, you won't know how you got along before without it.

I have a 1999 tc 33d and it has been trouble free. Still works just as good as it did the day I bought it. Perfect size for your needs. My only advice is don't try to crank it with the lights on.....blows a fuse almost every time. They may have corrected this problem with the newer models. I see no end to the good service it has given me. This was a good choice. Enjoy!!
