NH TC33DA
Good morning all. First post and first CU tractor. I've been ducking back and forth on what to do for almost two years. The CU's don't really have enough HP for where I want to end up, really would rather have a skid loader for dirt moving, but am mowing 3 acres this year and will be mowing 8 acres next year. Have a 1/2 mile of winter exposed lane to plow as well.

A big ZTR, an older tractor, like a AC 190XT and keeping my eye open for a good deal on a skid steer seemed like the plan until this week.

Came across the unit below, which coincidently is almost exactly the tractor my neighbor has. He has made it work for many years which is what convinced me that I could make it work as well. (his is a 1999, has the NH cab, AWD and turf tires.)

Anyway this is what I found - 2004 NH TC33DA with SuperSteer. Manual 4WD - no SensiTrac. Has the 15LA loader, not pictured but also included is a 6 foot mower deck (I forget the model number - 615 maybe). Wish it had turf tires, may have to switch them sometime.

Has 815 hours, has not been maintained terribly well, but not used commercially either. Has fluid seepage somewhere at the back of the mower deck, I'm betting a midmount or rear PTO seal. Will look harder later today.

The front light and grill were victims of the previous owners son's rock throwing abilities, but he threw in a new light, the old grill and 10 gallons of hydraulic oil. The owner is an acquaintance and an outstanding guy, he let me bring it home today to use and investigate before writing the check - though I already have it filled out because of what I think is the best news - the price.

Paid $8500.00.

Originally tried to get the owner down under 8K, but after checking around both of us agreed he was probably low already at $8500. I asked him twice if he was sure he wanted to sell, he agreed to honor his first price, I said good enough and loaded it.

I used this site to both select this model and double check the pricing. I appreciate all of your posts and info that I used without introducing myself. Thanks much!

Anyway, cell phone photo is blurry, but here it is. (None of the fluid on the floor is from this machine! At least in this photo!) The deck wasn't attached yet when I took this.

Appreciate any followup comments or suggestions. I'm back on the forum today to figure out the best way to take the loader and deck on and off, so fire away if you like.

Hello, I would recommend that you get an operators manual(s) for your tractor.
It will give you detailed instruction on removing the loader, mower, required maintenance, and other valueable info. I sometimes see these on E-Bay.

I got my operator's manual on eBay, and it was fairly cheap and quick. It doesn't tell about the FEL, you have to get the separate manual for that (also got that on eBay).
