Hey guys,
Just picked this up and going through it before it goes to real work. I've got the owners, parts, and sevice manuals from Vermeer, but there really is nothing in the manuals about the Perkins turbo motor. Did Vermeer provide a separate manual for it? I'd like to go through changing the oil, filters and especially the coolant with was about a gallon low. For now I just put in distiller water to make up the difference, but I'd like to know the block drain points and coolant spec. It's "green" now, but I'd like to switch to ELC like in my diesel truck.
