New to me- Wards Power-Kraft 230 stick welder

Did some side work for a fella and told him to keep an eye out for a welder.
Low and behold if he didn't tell me he had 3 welders. So I asked him for one as
payment on the condition it worked, and by golly after today's test it worked just
fine, so here we go gents. Having the time of my life, This stuff if fun. Tired of
swinging a darned hammer, been doing that for 35 years and still have to do my trade
for a few more before I can retire. I think I found my new hobby. Now just have
to practice more then I can start welding some of my own projects around here
instead of having to pay someone else to weld stuff for me and I can have fun
while I'm at it. YAAA HOOOO.:laughing::laughing::laughing:

I have an old Wards welder. First welder I ever bought, be careful, look what that started? Just look at my signature!

Here are a couple projects I built with that old Wards welder. Couple corner model wood stoves, and a fire place insert.

I use to make a living at it, now a days it's just a hobby. Oh, I don't know, it might have been cheaper to take up drinking? :laughing:
