Hey ya'll,
Kinda was suggested try here for some info, mwb suggested I have a gander.
First a bit about me, I'm into diesels I've got a 1991 1 ton 4x Ford and then a couple of gasser trucks an F150 SC and SC ranger as well, wife has a 89 Mustang convertible with 2.3L engine, which if we can find a decent small diesel and transmission will be retrofitted for that too...:shocked: so she says.
We both are involved locally with SAR Search and Rescue, and enjoy the outdoors and camping, we've got two dogs and a cat and live in a very rural area but not far from regular amenities of city life.
Now on to the meat n potatoes of my conundrum and thus the reason I am here.
I don't have a tractor right now maybe one day I'll get one :laughing: however what I do have is a Muscateer from about 1970 I've been restoring and modifying. It is an AATV Amphibious ATV. (think 6 wheeled Argo)

Muscateer 6x6 I've been doddling and working on for years!!
It has a bizarre transmission which functions a lot like a hydrostatic drive. Instant forward and reverse independently for each side. It is driven via a CVT similar to a snowmobile or UTV/ATV setup.
Being that I'm not satisfied with the performance of the Tecumseh HH120 12 hp engine that's in it, I have been looking for and wanting to swap in a diesel. I have basically come across an engine for a great price that would fit, a Kubota ZB600C-1 two cylinder water cooled 14HP max at 3200 RPM engine.
I'd want to crank that a bit tighter, 3600-4000 RPM if possible, and add more fuel and if possible a Turbo! :thumbsup:
I don't know if anyone has any thoughts but any help and suggestions would be great!
