New to site with tractor questions

Hello all,

Hope this finds you all doing well this Monday afternoon. My husband and I are out here in the middle of the corn and wheat fields of Kansas. We are currently having problems with our Massey Ferguson 2605 4x4. We our out in the pasture the other day and tractor was running like a charm. Went out the next day and couldn't get it to make a noise or anything. We thought it was the battery and bought a new one. (It wouldn't take a jump but will roll start/pop clutch) But when we hooked it up still nothing. Doesn't even click, just complete silence. Only has 197 hrs on it. Sure would appreciate some feed back. Have a great evening.

Do you have a voltage tester to see if voltage is getting to the starter solenoid when you turn the key? If not, it might be a safety interlock (not familar with the particulars of your model, but might be a seat switch, PTO-Off switch, neutral position switch, etc) or the key sitch itself; if voltage does get to the starter but nothing happens, could be the starter/solenoid.
