Looking for thrifty way to build a 18 foot long bridge over a creek. Strong enough for a pick-up. Any ideas?

:welcome: to TBN! I have seen many threads regarding this project here on TBN, lots of good knowledgable people on here. Glad to have you aboard. Have you thought of having concrete foundations on either end and using some heafty "I" beams to span the distance? Have rock or gravel ramps on either end, a solid ancher point for the ends of the "I" beams and a good wood decking and maybe some side rails and your good to go. For the amount of "I" beams, I could see using 2-4 dependng on how much weight you plan to bring across it. I have also seen some nice wood bridges, you could span treated 8x8 posts across the gap, I have even seen a thread where an old trailer was used as a bridge and it worked great. There are a lot of options.
